Ryan Northcott
Ryan Northcott is a talented Actor, Director, Producer, Writer, Editor, and Cinematographer. who has appeared in various films and television shows such as "Mystery, Alaska" and "The Beach Boys: An American Family." He's written and directed several award nominated short films.
As an actor, Ryan moved to L.A. after appearing in "Mystery, Alaska", and was cast in the Emmy Award nominated "The Beach Boys: An American Family" where he played Carl Wilson. He's also starred in "Jann", "Heartland", "Wynonna Earp", "Let Him Go" along side Kevin Costner and Diane Lane. He's a regular on "Tribal" as the Forensics Lead Mitch Wheeler, played the real-life journalist Julian Sher in the based on a true story "Marlene," and he stars as "Tom Lawson" in the film "Ties That Bind" among several other projects.
In addition to his acting career, Ryan runs a production company called Mediapop Films which he co-founded in 2011. He has written, directed, and produced three short films: "Ameera," "Going Down," and "Once Upon a Pandemic," which screened at multiple film festivals across North America and was nominated for Best Short Screenplay, Best Short Film, and his daughter Madeleine Murphy-Northcott was nominated for Best Alberta Actress. His next project, "Black Iris," was a screenplay semi-finalist at the Big Apple Film Festival in 2022. He has also produced and directed over 50 music videos, as well as hundreds of commercials and brand films.
In his personal life, Ryan has one daughter, Madeleine, who is a member of The Young Canadians. He loves coffee, cookies, and playing hockey, but due to his busy schedule, he has little time for a social life. Despite this, he still finds time to unleash his inner rockstar and belt out songs as a member of the Canadian vocal group Revv52.
