Whitney Richardson
Whitney Richardson was born in Prince Georges County, Maryland to Tera Rena Waters, a Preschool Teacher, and Marvette Coyvone Richardson, Owner of MCR Landscaping and Stuff. Whitney has always been passionate about the arts from a very young age. Drawing and painting were her propensities from birth however, she plunged into the performing arts later in life. Whitney Received her Dual Bachelor's Degree in International Business and Management from Penn State University. Later, she went on to Pursue a Masters in Graphic Design from The University of Baltimore where her passions for the arts erupted. This intrigued her love and interest in Photography-later she switched Universities altogether. Whitney enrolled at The Academy Art University in San Fransisco for Motion Picture and Television; where she came to yet another crossroad between directing and producing. She took a course in theater and realized she enjoyed being in front of the camera more than behind the scenes. This started her two-and-a-half-year journey in the performing arts! Whitney appears on HBO's We Own This City as Suiter's daughter (2022). She is making headway in the independent film market with her role as Cobalt in Maroon, Josie in Maybe someday, and Ayana in Aimless. Whitney surged into theater in the production of The Rockefeller special with Silver Spring Stage Theater and James and the Giant Peach with DreamWrights Theater.
