Wendy Morgan
Wendy Morgan's parents emigrated to Canada from Chile the year she was born. The eldest daughter of six children Wendy began her career directing music videos after graduating with a degree in Art History at McGill University in Montreal.
Wendy Morgan combines naturalism, bold style and often choreography to create award-winning unique films for artists like Alicia Keys, Janelle Monáe, Lous and The Yakuza and brands like Lanvin, Rag & Bone, VW and The Paris Opera Ballet. Time magazine named her iconic video for Gnarls Barkley's "Going On" one of the Top 30 Music Videos of all time. Her video "Happy" for French producers C2C, with over 20 million views, was honored at the London International Awards, the UKMVAs, the MVPAs and TED and her video for Keys' "Underdog" earned a 2020 MTV MVA nomination.
Wendy has directed episodes of Apple TV+ Circuit Breakers as well as The Family Channel's show Backstage and Little Dog on CBC. In Dec 2020 Wendy released her debut feature film Sugar Daddy for which she won Outstanding Directorial Achievement at the 2021 DGC Awards.
