Vineet Bhatia
Vineet was awarded his first Michelin star in 2001 and created history by becoming the first chef to be awarded one for Indian cuisine (London, UK) in 102 years of the existence of the guide. And in 2009, his restaurant Rasoi by Vineet, Geneva, was awarded a Michelin Star, taking him again into the history books by becoming the only chef (Indian cuisine) to hold 2 stars, one in the UK and one outside of the UK.
His most recent media appearances have been as a judge on Netflix's The Final Table and the latest season of MasterChef India, one of the most-watched series.
Vineet is accredited as the 'Master' of Modern Progressive Indian food and his culinary vision has transformed Indian cuisine, placing it on the world platform making him one of the most respected and recognised names in the industry. Consequently, he was shortlisted in the top 100 global Indians and his restaurant in Chelsea, Rasoi was featured in the Sunday Times Top 10 restaurants in the United Kingdom.
Along his culinary journey, he has partnered with some of the world's most iconic and exclusive hotels and establishments such as Harrods, Mandarin Oriental, and Marriott to name a few, establishing world-renowned restaurants globally. His food has been curated in the sky too, working as a Culinary Ambassador to British Airways and Qatar Airways for 16 years, with his signature dishes featuring on the last Concorde flight to the latest first-class suites.
Vineet has headlined some of the world's most celebrated gastronomical events and experiences such as; Red Bull's Hangar 7 in Salzburg, Madrid Fusion, San Sebastián Gastronomika, Taste of London and Dubai and the Q Experience in Antarctica.
His philanthropic ventures have taken him across the world for great causes; setting up a 3-day pop-up restaurant at Mount Everest, cooking at the Street Kitchen in New York for the homeless, and being an ambassador for the India Heart Child foundation.
