Veronica Falcón
Veronica Falcón was born in Mexico City. She is considered one of Mexico's most versatile & prestigious actors, as well as an outstanding choreographer. For over three decades she's had a remarkable career both as an actor & choreographer. In 2015 she moved with her family to Los Angeles from Mexico City, within months she was cast as "Camila Vargas" in the hit television series "Queen of the South" where she quickly became a fan favorite.
Some of her latest credits include: "Ozark" opposite to Laura Linney, Julia Garner & Jason Bateman. Disney's "Jungle Cruise" where she played "Trader Sam" next to Dwayne Johnson, Jack Whitehall & Emily Blunt. HBO's "Perry Mason" playing "Lupe Gibbs" opposite to Matthew Rhys. Other credits include: "Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the Universe" produced by Lynn Manuel Miranda, Steven Conrad's critically acclaimed series "Perpetual Grace Ltd" where she played "Clara" opposite to Sir Ben Kingsley. In Marc Sherry's "Why Women Kill" Veronica played "Catherine Castillo", she also played "Rosa" in HBO's "Room 104", she also played "Mamma Donnya" in Marvel's "The Falcon and the Winter Soldier" & "Lydia" in "The Forever Purge". She worked with Joseph Gordon-Levitt in "Mr. Corman", with Oscar nominee Ted Melfi in "The Starling" & with Neil Burger in "Voyagers" opposite to Collin Farrell. Her latest project in film is "A million miles away" with Michael Peña.
Some of her credits in the Latam market include: the critically acclaimed "Days of Grace", HBO's "Sr. Avila" & "Capadoccia", "El Señor de los cielos",the cult film "Hasta el viento tiene miedo", "Los Minondo', "El Capitan Camacho", "Sugar Kisses" directed by Oscar Nominee Carlos Cuaron and "A Monster of a thousand heads" directed by the multi awarded director Rodrigo Plá. Verónica most recently recorded the role of "Irma" in Louise Abbot's podcast "Pesos" produced by Salt Audio Media & Leopoldo Gout.
For many years, Veronica was the artistic Director an independent theater company that she originated with her then husband Polish actor/director Marius Biegai. Ms Falcón just completed the off Broadway successful run of Shakespeare's "Arden of Faversham". In this new adaptation by Jeffrey Hatcher & Kathryn Walat. Veronica played "Widow Greene" to critical acclaim, marking her New York stage debut with this role. The play was directed by Jesse Berger & produced for the New York stage by The Red Bull Theater Company. In 2013 Veronica won a grant as a playwright competing with over two hundred and fifty writers. The grant was part of the Global "Micro-theater" project that originated in Spain. Veronica is part of UCLA's Writers Certificate program. She's developing a limited television series & writing a compilation of several short stories.
As a choreographer Ms. Falcón was invited several times to work with Mexico's National Opera, her choreography of Mozart's "Don Giovanni" is still regarded as one of the most original works ever created for the Company. She also choreographed countless projects for stage & television in Mexico, Canada & Berlin. In the nineties, she worked most of the top Pop Latinx stars in the music industry choreographing concerts & tv specials.
At age fifteen, Ms. Falcón was awarded a Teacher's Degree in English, she is fluent in German & French. Veronica was born ion August 8th, she is the eldest of two siblings, her brother works as a sports journalist, her father is an architect and her mom was a real estate agent. Veronica was married from 1998 - 2022 to Marius Biegai, they remain very close friends and have a son together: Lucca Nikolai. She lives in Los Angeles, California.
