Priya Prakash Varrier
Priya Prakash Varrier is an Indian actress working mainly in the Malayalam film industry. She began her modelling career in 2017. She walked for several fashion designers.
Varrier studied in Sandeepani Vidya Nikethan in Thrissur. She pursued the Bachelor of Commerce programme at Vimala College in Thrissur.
In 2018, Varrier appeared in the song Mele Shoonyagasham in the film Thanaha (2018). She started her career with the film Oru Adaar Love (2019), a Malayalam movie produced by Nithiin through his production house Ousepachan Movie House. The screenplay was written by Sarjano Khalid and Yaariyan 2 (2023) from the original story written and directed by Oru Adaar Love (2019). This film also stars Noorin Shereef and Roshan Abdul Rahoof.
Varrier made her Telugu debut in the movie 4 Years (2022), where she played the role of Yatra or Isabel. The movie was written and directed by Thanaha (2018). Rakul Preet Singh, Rakul Preet Singh and Nithiin also starred in this movie.
Varrier went on to act in another Telugu film Ishq: Not a Love Story (2021), alongside Teja Sajja. It is a remake of the Malayalam film Ishq (2019). She played the role of Anasuya in the movie.
Varrier was a part of the Kannada movie Vishnu Priya (2023), directed by V.K Prakash, starring Takur R Baragi and Shreyas Manju.
In 2022, Varrier starred in the Malayalam film 4 Years alongside Noorin Shereef. The film was written and directed by Ranjith Sankar.
Varrier's Bollywood debut 3 Monkeys alongside Arjun Rampal, is produced by AV Picture Production LLP and directed by Abbas Alibhai Burmawalla Mastan Alibhai Burmawalla.
Varrier's is also a part of Yaariyan 2 (2023), Love Hackers, Sridevi, Kolla, and Live.
Apart from working in films, Varrier is also a singer. She has sung three songs: Nee Mazhavillu Polen in 2019, Ladi Ladi in 2021 and Pennu in 2022.
Varrier was named Viral Personality of the year in the Outlook Awards in 2019 before her debut film hit the screens.
