Lara Alcantara
Lara Alcantara Lansberg was born in Caracas, Venezuela. She lived in Paris from 1997 until 1998, where she learned french and re-discovered her passion for theater and Photography. Lara then moved to NY to start her BA in Photography and Theater at BARD College. Transferred to NYU where she graduated with a major in Photography and a minor in Theater. She did her MFA at BARD College. Lara lived in Los Angeles where she studied with Milton Katselas at the Beverly Hills Playhouse. He was always very excited after she executed her scenes on stage. Lara lives and works in New York City. Lara was in a pilot in 2014, she had a featured role for HBO Show me a Hero in 2015 and a lead role for the Travel Channel as Rose Dugdale also in 2015. She has made four short films, one feature and a web series since she decided to go all in with her acting career. Some of the titles of the films she has done include: Sisters, the Flower and the Monster, Vamp Bikers 2 and First Dates. Lara is now committed to making it in the entertainment business and will not stop at anything until her dreams are fulfilled.
